my story ♡
music has taught me i’m allowed to be whoever i want to be. it is a safe place in which i can express myself, my experiences, and my emotions authentically. unapologetic, unfiltered, and painfully relatable
as a neurodivergent person (AuDHD), i often struggle with alexithymia and delayed emotional processing, some of the many ways i feel disconnected from the world around me. over the years, writing songs has become my coping mechanism, my way of processing my emotions and experiences, and telling my own story instead of acting out someone else’s. it's how i connect with the world, and work to create the change i want to see in it. including acceptance, radical love, and tearing down toxic Christian stereotypes.
my sound pulls from everything that shaped me growing up. 90s and 2000s punk, hard rock, pop, pop/punk, and numetal. artists like avril lavigne, olivia rodrigo, dc talk, thousand foot krutch, and so many others who have made me feel something deeply real, and i hope my music can do that for you.
