my story
i used to be a child actor, and at the time it was my dream. it was an incredible experience, but now it feels like a version of me that doesn’t exist anymore, a version built on whatever other people expected me to be. happy, optimistic, mature, responsible, caring. and while i am all of those things, i’ve learned i’m also allowed to be whoever i wanna be. i don’t have to force myself into certain emotions or ways of being just to make other people comfortable, especially if it isn’t true to me.
that’s where music comes in. writing songs became my coping mechanism, my way of telling my own story instead of acting out someone else’s. it’s how i found authenticity, a way out of all the boxes i felt trapped in.
after Jesus saved me, i realized i could do something unique with my faith. i write secular music, but i use it as a way to talk about God in a new light. i want to tear down toxic Christian stereotypes and make space for people like me to succeed in an industry that wasn’t built for us.
my sound pulls from everything that shaped me growing up. 90s and 2000s punk, hard rock, pop rock, and numetal. artists like avril lavigne, olivia rodrigo, dc talk, thousand foot krutch, and so many others who made me feel something real, and i hope my music can do that for you.
